Mario Ostiguy passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 66.
A long‑time employee and union steward at the Laval Tax Service Office he was known for his dedication, strong sense of responsibility, and unwavering commitment to his colleagues. He carried out all his duties with competence and loyalty.
His perseverance and passion for his work helped create a positive environment and provided support and service greatly appreciated by employees of the Canada Revenue Agency and members of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada. His union and professional involvement had long been recognized and valued.
Mario will be remembered as a simple, generous, and deeply humane person. His positive energy, his smile, his natural warmth, and his loyalty to those who were part of his daily and personal life will remain with us.
