Are you a young professional looking to connect with others, raise issues that matter to you and help make a difference in the public service? Consider joining the BC-Yukon Young Professionals Committee.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to connect with other young professionals regionally and nationally and work together to bring forward issues that matter to young professionals in the public service.
The YPC is open to all BC-Yukon members in good standing, with preference given to members under 40. The committee will include up to 10 young professionals from across BC-Yukon, along with the Young Professionals Chair on the Regional Executive. The committee’s term is 3 years.
The YPC’s objectives are to:
- identify barriers facing young professionals in the public service and PIPSC
- raise issues specific to young professionals
- build relationships with like-minded groups; and
- connect with young professionals in the workplace.
