The NR National Executive is excited to officially launch the NR National Young Professionals Network (YPN)! This is a new initiative created to connect, support, and empower members across the NR group.
This network is focused on career stage, not age, and is open to members who are early in their careers or who have been part of the NR group for less than five years. It is also open to anyone who is interested in supporting the growth, development, and engagement of emerging professionals within our group.
The NR YPN is a space to connect, learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships across the NR group.
NR National YPN Official Virtual Launch Event – October 27, 2026, at 6 PM ET
I am excited to invite members to the official NR National YPN Launch Event, where I will introduce the network, share its vision, and officially kick off the NR National YPN Mentorship Program.
During the event, I will provide an overview of the mentorship program, including the roles and expectations of mentors and mentees.
I am also pleased to welcome the Chair of the PIPSC NCR Young Professionals Committee (YPC), who will speak briefly about young professional initiatives and share insights from the YPC.
The event will also be an opportunity to connect with colleagues and share ideas for future YPN activities.
NR National YPN Mentorship Program
The NR National YPN Mentorship Program is one of the first initiatives of the network and will provide opportunities to:
- – Build professional networks across the NR group
- – Learn from colleagues’ experiences and perspectives
- – Support professional growth and career development
- – Share knowledge and build meaningful connections
I am looking for both:
- Mentees – members who are early in their careers or who have been part of the NR group for less than five years.
- Mentors – members interested in sharing their knowledge, experience, and perspectives to support colleagues. Mentors do not need to be managers – anyone with relevant experience and a willingness to support others is encouraged to participate.
