The CFIA-S&A election committee has verified the results for the 2026 elections. The following candidates have been acclaimed to their regional positions on CFIA-S&A executive, and will take office immediately:
- Hugo Frechette – Quebec Representative
- Jie Qiu – Prairies/NWT Representative
There were no candidates for the BC/Yukon representative. The CFIA-S&A executive will determine next steps for this position on the executive.
Congratulations to the newly elected executive committee members and a big thanks to all the nominees. Our group relies on the contributions of volunteers to advance the interests of members like you.
