Join us for a free picnic mixer co-hosted by the SP Lower Mainland BC, NR Vancouver, and AFS Vancouver Sub-Groups; Greater Vancouver and Surrey-White Rock Branches; and the BC-Yukon Region!
Join us at Burnaby Lake for:
- boating and kayaking
- picnic games with prizes
- food and drinks
Members may bring 1 friend or up to 2 family members
Picnic tables are limited, so we encourage members to bring your own chair or picnic blanket if you’d like to sit.
Boating and kayaking spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where: Deer Lake Boat Rentals
This event brings together PIPSC sub-group and branch members, as well as young professionals working in the Greater Vancouver area.
BC-Yukon Regional Executive members, local executives, and stewards will be available to share PIPSC updates and answer your questions.
Whether you want to spend some time on the water, meet new people, introduce your kids to PIPSC, expand your professional network or learn more about your union, there is something for everyone!
Spots are limited, and we will select attendees based on priority. We will notify selected members by September 18.
Please note that if you RSVP and do not cancel within a reasonable timeframe, you may be placed on a low-priority list for future regional events.
