The PIPSC Halifax Branch is pleased to invite its members, as well as members of the Halifax DND Branch, and their guests to the 20th Annual Golf Classic and Fall Social, taking place at the beautiful Granite Springs Golf Club in Bayside, Nova Scotia.

Participants are invited to enjoy a round of 18 holes of golf, followed by an informal BBQ dinner. Tee-offs will be arranged in groups of four players. Participants may register as a group of four or register individually and be placed into a group where space permits.

Golf tournament awards and door prizes will be presented near the end of the meal.

Participation in the golf tournament is not required to attend the BBQ dinner. However, only those who are registered for the BBQ dinner and are in attendance will be eligible for door prizes.

As part of our 20th Annual Golf Classic and Fall Social, we will be holding a voluntary fundraiser in support of the PIPSC Legacy Foundation. The Foundation provides scholarships to the children and grandchildren of PIPSC members pursuing post-secondary education. We encourage everyone to participate and help invest in the future of our PIPSC community.

Registration Requirements and Considerations

Space is limited and will be allocated in order of registration and full payment.
Halifax Branch and Halifax DND Branch PIPSC members may register using the CVENT link. Please look for an email from Natasha Cabot in early August.
Halifax Branch and Halifax DND Branch PIPSC members who do not receive the CVENT registration link should contact Natasha Cabot at ncabot@pipsc.ca.
Halifax Branch and Halifax DND Branch PIPSC members wishing to attend the complimentary BBQ dinner must register in advance.
Guests may register by emailing one of the event coordinators: Lori Thistle at lori.thistle@hotmail.com and/or Nicholas Isenor at nisenor@pipsc.ca.
Members and guests wishing to attend the golf tournament, the BBQ dinner, or both must register for each activity accordingly.
All registrations and payments must be completed by Monday, September 7th, 2026.
Only participants who register as a four-player group will be guaranteed placement together.
Individual registration will be used to fill groups of four players where required.

Payment and Confirmation

Payment is to be made by email money transfer to Nicholas Isenor (nisenor@pipsc.ca). Please Include your name in the comment field.
Spaces will be allocated and prioritized based on the date full payment is received.
All payments must be received by Monday, September 7th, 2026, to hold your space.

Additional Information

Prize holes will be identified at the time of the tournament.
The event will proceed rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to bring extra dry clothing and footwear in the event of wet weather.
Refunds will only be issued if the golf course is closed by the Club.
