The Penticton AFS Sub-Group is holding its Annual General Meeting on June 17, 2026, at 5:15 PM at the Penticton Curling Club (upstairs in the lounge), 505 Vees Drive, Penticton, BC V2A 8S3.       

Agenda:   

5:15 – AGM 

6:15 – Dinner

Guests: Doug Mason, AFS President, and Simon Chiu, B.C. and Yukon AFS Representative        

Cost: No cost to members.  Light refreshments and dinner (catered by Copper Mug Pub)

Reasons to attend:

• Ask questions about bargaining and related matters
• Keep informed on local, regional, and national AFS (CRA) issues
• Network with other sub-group members

Elections will be held for the following executive positions: 

• Vice-President
• Secretary
• 1 Member at Large (2-year term) 

By-law 7.4 Eligibility to Hold Office: Because all members of the Sub-Group Executive are required to consult with the employer on behalf of the members, to be a candidate or remain an officer, the person must be a member and must be or become a steward.
