As Work Force Adjustments (WFAs) continue to affect members across the public service, mental health is top of mind. Active members like you provide a safe space to share emotions and lived experiences. That emotional labour can be difficult to manage, which is why we want to provide tools and resources to help you navigate mental health in the workplace.

PIPSC has teamed up with the Canadian Mental Health Association to offer you a custom online training on mental health foundations to help you support your peers and take care of yourself.

When: Thursday, May 14, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET (bilingual session)

In this session, you will learn to:

  • Use respectful language and raise awareness of mental health
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
  • Apply prevention and protective strategies
  • Have safe, supportive conversations and seek help

This will be a bilingual training session with simultaneous interpretation and a bilingual facilitator.

If you can’t make it, visit our mental health resource page and keep an eye out for the recording, which will be posted on our website.

If you have questions about the training, please contact bettertogether@pipsc.ca.
