A Special General Meeting is being held on Wednesday, June 24 at 6 PM to elect the following members to the AFS Toronto Centre Subgroup, whose term will commence at the end of this Special General meeting:
- President ( Term expires at the end of the 2026 AFS Toronto Centre Annual General Meeting).
- Vice President (Term expires at the end of the 2027 AFS Toronto Centre Annual General Meeting).
- Treasurer (Term expires at the end of the 2026 AFS Toronto Centre Annual General Meeting).
- Secretary (Term expires at the end of the 2027 AFS Toronto Centre Annual General Meeting)
- Four (4) Members at Large (Term expires at the end of the 2027 AFS Toronto Centre Annual General Meeting)
This meeting is necessary due to the PIPSC Election Committee nullifying the results of the 2025 AFS Toronto Centre Subgroup election held at the 2025 Subgroup Annual General Meeting.
The meeting will be held via Zoom at the link attached below.
Date & Time: Wednesday June 24 at 6 PM.

Nominations from the floor will only be accepted for positions that did not receive an advanced nomination. If you are wanting to be a candidate, you are strongly encouraged to submit your nomination prior to June 17.
Members must be a steward or willing and able to become a steward in order to hold an Executive position on the Subgroup. Members can only hold one position on the Subgroup executive.
Candidates will be allowed three minutes for speeches during this meeting.
No other business or resolutions will be entertained during this Special General Meeting.
