The NUREG Bargaining Team met with CNSC Management January 23 and 24, 2017. The Team presented the pay proposal of 3% per year in each of 4 years, plus restructuring of the salary grid that would benefit ALL members. Your Bargaining Team also presented a proposal for a Compressed Work Week.
The Employer presented the MOA on Employee Wellness (SICK LEAVE) that was negotiated at a PIPSC central table. There will be no changes to the sick leave this round.
The parties remain far apart on most issues, including pay. The next bargaining session is scheduled for Feb 7, 8 and 9, 2017 and we remain hopeful that the parties will reach a fair settlement.
