CS Annual Membership Officer Report 2018
It has been an Interesting and Busy Year since I have been assigned the Membership Portfolio for 2018.
I compiled CS Membership Statistics and Presented this Information at the Annual CS subgroup Presidents Meeting in March 2018. There were some Interesting findings from the Information:
-There are 14,340 Members which 675 of these are Rand Members (not signed members). This count was as of April 2018.
-There are 277 Members that do not belong to any CS subgroup. If we were able to include some or all of these members to a subgroup in their area it could mean a better link for members with the CS Group.
-I identified how many CS stewards there are in each CS subgroup, this way subgroups could identify where there is a need for more stewards.
-Some of these statistics were broken down by Subgroup, Region, location, Department.
I had a communication sent out in April to all the 675 Rand Members introducing them on how to become a card holding PIPSC member.
I am very busy planning the 2018 CS Annual AGM. There will be a Virtual Binder (Electronic) offered to members this year!
I am very pleased to say we received 154 Delegate applications for the 2018 CS AGM and 68 seats available. The #’s of delegate applications show the growing interest and involvement we are receiving from the CS Membership! This is awesome.
