The NCR Regional Council 2026, will be held in a hybrid format (in person and virtual) on April 24–25, 2026. The Regional Council is the governing body for PIPSC members in the National Capital Region and plays a key role in shaping the direction of our Region.
Regional Council Priorities
- Electing NCR members-at-large and the NCR Executive
- Considering amendments to the NCR Constitution, By-Laws, and Regulations
- Approving the NCR Regional Budget
- Debating resolutions, including those to be forwarded to the PIPSC AGM
Registration Details
- Council dates: Friday, April 24 (12:00–5:00 PM) and Saturday, April 25 (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- Location: Hilton Lac-Leamy, Gatineau, QC, with limited in-person attendance; additional delegates will attend virtually
- Online registration only (telephone or email requests will not be accepted) An email invitation will be sent to members.
Important Notes:
- The National Capital Regional Council delegates shall comprise of active members of the region plus the members of the Executive.
- The in-person capacity is limited to 330 delegates remaining delegates are able to join virtually. A confirmation email confirming your attendance format will be sent after registration closes.
- Since this is an NCR initiative the policies applicable are for the NCR region. Transportation to Ottawa outside of the National Capital Region is not covered. However, KMs within the region will be paid. Chalk River and Petawawa members are encompassed in the NCR region and are eligible to attend.
