President\u2019s Report \/ Rapport du pr\u00e9sident<\/p>\n\n

Sasha attended the Group and Sub-group President\u2019s meeting; from discussions and comments it was determined that events can be held. All that is needed is for someone to propose and do an event. Other groups and subgroups have similar issues. O\u2019Neil Brooke asked for clarification on Social Events. Sasha explained that she would like someone to come forward with an idea, make a motion to request funding, then the executive committee would vote on it and if approved, the requestor goes forward to arrange.<\/p>\n\n

Pierre Touchette was absent for this meeting. Brian Murray started a discussion on the Bylaws currently before the BLPC, he stated that the ones they had were not the ones approved at the AGM as they did not match ones that O\u2019Neil Brooke had taken photos of at the AGM. Brian requested that we approach the Bylaws committee to seek agreement, have a discussion on Article 6.2.2 and agree on the Bylaws by an email vote. The Bylaws presented to the BLPC were compared to the ones submitted by Catherine Keir, (which are now on file in the shared folder) and Michael Kenny gave an explanation as to why article 6.2.2 was not required.<\/p>\n\n

Pierre Touchette \u00e9tait absent pour cette rencontre. Brian Murray a entam\u00e9 une discussion sur les r\u00e8glements administratifs actuellement devant le BLPC, il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que ceux qu\u2019ils avaient n\u2019\u00e9taient pas ceux approuv\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019AGA car ils ne correspondaient pas \u00e0 ceux dont O\u2019Neil Brooke avait pris des photos \u00e0 l\u2019AGA. Brian nous a demand\u00e9 de nous adresser au comit\u00e9 des r\u00e8glements administratifs pour obtenir un accord, d\u2019avoir une discussion sur l\u2019article 6.2.2 et de nous entendre sur les r\u00e8glements administratifs par un vote par courriel. Les r\u00e8glements administratifs pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s au BLPC ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compar\u00e9s \u00e0 ceux soumis par Catherine Keir (qui sont maintenant dans le dossier partag\u00e9) et Michael Kenny ont expliqu\u00e9 pourquoi l\u2019article 6.2.2 n\u2019\u00e9tait pas n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n\n

Brian Murray reported that the financial documents are in the Shared folder, and he requested the President to send a request for allocation for 2024 and asked that he be notified when this was done.<\/p>\n\n

Cheryl Jennings presented the revised minutes for the January 18th <\/sup>meeting, motion to approve, seconded by Eric-Pascal Bourr\u00e9, passed.<\/p>\n\n

Also presented the minutes of the March 21st <\/sup>meeting, motion to approve, seconded by Eric-Pascal Bourr\u00e9, passed.<\/p>\n\n

Meeting with New Candidates \/ Rencontre avec de nouveaux candidats<\/p>\n\n

Sasha Dukic requested a meeting be set up for lunch with the candidates in May.<\/p>\n\n

Sasha also indicated she would propose a Mini Putt Event.<\/p>\n\n

Request to Fund Survey \/ Demande de financement pour une enqu\u00eate<\/p>\n\n

O\u2019Neil Brooke spoke about his concerns regarding illnesses caused by Rmna vaccines. Fred Curson commented that this should be a PIPSC National Survey. Cheryl Jennings stated that something along this line was presented to PIPSC National and rejected once before and that we would still need their approval to conduct this survey even if it is on a smaller scale. There were several questions that due to time restraints were not answered and a decision was made to \u2018park\u2019 the discussion until next meeting.<\/p>\n\n

O\u2019Neil Brooke a parl\u00e9 de ses pr\u00e9occupations concernant les maladies caus\u00e9es par les vaccins Rmna. Fred Curson a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019il devrait s\u2019agir d\u2019un sondage national de l\u2019Institut. Cheryl Jennings a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que quelque chose dans ce sens a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Institut national et rejet\u00e9 une fois auparavant et que nous aurions toujours besoin de leur approbation pour mener ce sondage, m\u00eame si c\u2019est \u00e0 plus petite \u00e9chelle. Il y a eu plusieurs questions auxquelles, en raison de contraintes de temps, on n\u2019a pas r\u00e9pondu et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de \u00ab stationner \u00bb la discussion jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la prochaine r\u00e9union.<\/p>\n\n
