1. Meeting called to order at 1901 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

2. Roll call of all subgroup executive members: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

President: Candise Hansen<\/p>\n\n

Vice-President: Miranda LaVallee<\/p>\n\n

Treasurer: Rachel Boyko<\/p>\n\n

Secretary: Nealy Hildebrandt<\/p>\n\n

Member at Large: Mason Heminger<\/p>\n\n

Member at Large: Tanya Smood<\/p>\n\n

Member at Large: Kira Stillwell<\/p>\n\n

3. Adoption of Agenda: Tanya Smood, Kira Stillwell (2nd) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

4. Minutes from last meeting of AGM: Accepted by Candise Hansen, Rachel Boyko (2nd)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

5. Treasurer’s report: Nealy Hildebrandt, Mason Heminger (2nd) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

6. Subgroup Elections: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

–           Adriana Knoll stepped down<\/p>\n\n

–           We had 6 nominations for 5 member at large positions<\/p>\n\n

–           Nominated: Courtney Humeny, Maegan Sharp, Roberta McFarlane, Alyssa Regush, Kira<\/p>\n\n

Stillwell, Jordyn Dornblut<\/p>\n\n

–           Voted in and accepted the position: Courtney Humeny, Maegan Sharp, Roberta<\/p>\n\n

McFarlane, Alyssa Regush, Kira Stillwell<\/p>\n\n

 <\/p>\n\n

7. Guest Speaker: Lynn Ohlson – National SH Executive President <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

–           Lynn provided an update on bargaining, that we have exchanged proposals as the CA<\/p>\n\n

has expired as of September 2022<\/p>\n\n

–           Lynn spoke to the general economic increase (GEI) that should be considered when<\/p>\n\n

looking at rates of pay<\/p>\n\n

–           Should we not be able to come to an agreement, we are unable to strike, but would<\/p>\n\n

instead utilize the process of arbitration to reach a decision<\/p>\n\n

–           PSAC is currently in a strike position as they are far apart from the treasury board in<\/p>\n\n

terms of what both sides believe to be fair<\/p>\n\n

–           Lynn spoke to our rights and responsibilities in a PSAC strike, noting that it is the<\/p>\n\n

employer’s responsibility to get staff across the picket line. We are encouraged to<\/p>\n\n

support in any way we can: read material, honk while passing workers, bring coffee or<\/p>\n\n

donuts for those on the picket line etc.<\/p>\n\n

–           Lynn spoke to different meetings that are upcoming in the SH group: President’s<\/p>\n\n

meeting, Prairie Regional Council, PIPSC AGM, etc.<\/p>\n\n
