{"id":56948,"date":"2021-11-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pipsc.ca\/st-johns-nl-cp-sub-group-agm-tuesday-january-20th-2022-anglais-seulment\/"},"modified":"2021-11-29T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-11-29T00:00:00","slug":"st-johns-nl-cp-sub-group-agm-tuesday-january-20th-2022-anglais-seulment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pipsc.ca\/fr\/st-johns-nl-cp-sub-group-agm-tuesday-january-20th-2022-anglais-seulment\/","title":{"rendered":"St. John\u2019s NL CP Sub-Group &#8211;  AGM &#8211; Tuesday, January 20th, 2022 (anglais seulment)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container\">\n<p><strong>NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>St. John\u2019s NL CP Sub-Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The St. John\u2019s PIPSC CP Sub-Group will be holding its AGM on<\/strong> <strong>Tuesday, January 20<sup>th<\/sup> from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Smitty\u2019s Restaurant in Mount Pearl.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Please RSVP Susan Evans at <a href=\"mailto:susanlynnevans@gmail.com\">susanlynnevans@gmail.com<\/a> by January 10th to confirm your attendance.<\/p>\n\n<p>NOTE: No AGM held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>AGENDA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol>\n\t<li>Roll Call<\/li>\n\t<li>Approval of the Agenda<\/li>\n\t<li>Approval of Minutes from 2020 AGM<\/li>\n\t<li>Business Arising from the 2020 AGM Minutes<\/li>\n\t<li>President\u2019s Report \u2013 Tim Power<\/li>\n\t<li>Financial Report \u2013 Lori Kennedy<\/li>\n\t<li>Approval of Budget \u2013 Lori Kennedy<\/li>\n\t<li>Guest Presentation &#8211; TBA<\/li>\n\t<li>Election of Officers \u2013\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>President (2 year term)<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Vice President (1 year term)<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Treasurer (2 year term)<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Secretary (1 year term)<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Members at Large (two for two year terms and one for one year term)<\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<\/li>\n\t<li>New Business and By-Law Amendments<\/li>\n\t<li>Adjournment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><strong>Election 2022 &#8211; Call for Nominations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"Default\">In accordance with the By-Laws of the St. John\u2019s AV Sub-Group, a full slate of Executive Officers (as listed above) will be filled by election at the 2022 AGM.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>Role of President:<\/strong> The President shall call and preside at all meetings of the Sub-Group and of the Sub-Group Executive and shall present to the Annual General Meeting a report on Sub-Group activities.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"Default\"><strong>Role of Vice-President<\/strong>: The Vice-President shall assist the President in the performance of his duties and, in the absence of the President, perform the duties of that position.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"Default\"><strong>Role of Secretary<\/strong>: The Secretary shall be responsible for sending notices of all meetings of the Sub-Group and of the Sub-Group Executive. The Secretary shall record minutes of meetings, including attendance, maintain records and correspondence of the Sub-Group and of the Sub-Group Executive and shall ensure that a copy of the minutes is filed with the Institute. The Secretary shall also be responsible for submitting reports as required by the relevant Institute and Group By-Laws and Constitutions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"Default\"><strong>Role of Member-at-Large<\/strong>: Each Member-At-Large will perform such duties as may be assigned by the Executive.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nominations may be submitted in writing by January 10th, 2022 or may be made from the floor of the Sub-Group AGM. Each nomination must be made by a member in good standing and seconded by another member in good standing.
