To all NCR Members,
There is currently two (2) member-at-large vacant positions on the NCR Regional Executive.
We will be filling the vacancy in accordance with Regional By-Law 7.6 which reads as follows:
7.6 Vacancies
If the position of a non Board member of the Executive becomes vacant, it shall be filled by appointment until the next NCR Council or, in the case of the post of Chief Steward, the next Stewards Council. Appointments shall be made by simple majority vote of the NCR Executive.
All NCR members interested in filling the vacant positions on our executive are invited to submit their written expression of interest to the NCR executive at the e-mail address listed below prior to the deadline of Friday September 7th, 2018 at 17:00 hrs. Expressions of interest should include a brief letter outlining the reason why you are interested in the position on the NCR Regional Executive.
The executive will review all submissions and make the appointment at the next NCR executive meeting on Tuesday September 11, 2018. The appointment will be effective until the next NCR Regional Council in April 2019 or sooner if an Acting NCR Director is recalled. The list of all submissions will be held and maintained on file until the next NCR Regional Council in 2019 to fill any further vacancies if required.
All written submission should be sent to NCR_Admin@pipsc.ca prior to the deadline on Friday September 7th, 2018 at 17:00 hrs.
