Result of the Strike Vote
A Strike vote was held between August 24 and 28, 2017. A substantial percentage of the bargaining unit members voted in favour of providing your Bargaining Team with a strong strike mandate. A number of fun events are being planned for the next two weeks. A number of members will be attending strike training on September 8th provided by the Institute. Should you wish to become more involved, attend the strike training, or if you have any questions, please contact a member of your Executive at uoitp_exec@pipsc.ca.
Your bargaining Team has agreed to move the strike deadline to September 16 after Mediation with the employer on September 12 and 13.
