After more than 20 years, the first national all presidents meeting of the Retired Members Guild (RMG) was held in Ottawa, on October 17, 2023. It preceded the RMG’s 2023 Annual General Meeting.

This is your voter’s kit for the election of the Retired Members Guild Group Executive. Voting will take place by electronic means only. You will receive your ballot keys by email if you can vote for these elections. 

Elections to the Retired Members Guild Executive are now taking place. Attached you will find a Nomination Form. Please consider running and having the opportunity to serve on the Guild Executive to better help retirees.

The RMG Elections Committee would like to congratulate the successful candidates and thank everyone who participated in this election.

Union involvement is about building a community and camaraderie, so we’re taking bold steps to make this happen. Through a revamped education and training model, we are offering exciting new ways for stewards and members to be involved.

It is with a profound sense of sorrow and regret that the Institute informs you of the passing of our friend and colleague, Mr. Arthur Etkin.   Mr. Etkin passed away on January 21, 2018. His commitment to Institute members was deep and unwavering. He will be missed.
