On March 17, 2017 your Bargaining Team reached a Tentative Agreement with the Hamilton Health Sciences to renew the RT Group’s Collective Agreement. Members had the opportunity to vote on this settlement on March 28, 2017 at the Walker Family Cancer Centre and on March 29, 2017 at the Juravinski Cancer Centre. We closed the ballots on March 29, 2017 after the last information session in Hamilton. A strong majority of members have ratified the Tentative Agreement.
All negotiated changes that are not specifically dated will be in effect at the date of ratification of the Employer which should be on or before April 7, 2017.
Out of 115 members, 85 casted their vote: 78 voted for and 7 against the Tentative Agreement. We would like to thank the member’s participation in attending the information sessions and for casting their vote.
