PIPSC Salutes its Medical Radiation Therapists on MRT Week

Fellow members,

Medical Radiation Therapist (MRT) Week, which recognizes the essential role these professionals play in Canada’s healthcare system, runs from November 5 to 11, 2017. MRTs deliver professional imaging and radiation-related treatment services with a caring touch, allowing patients to fully benefit from the latest in medical diagnostic and treatment technology.

The Institute represents some 300 Medical Radiation Therapists across Ontario, at facilities located in Hamilton, Windsor, Toronto & Thunder Bay.

Let’s take this opportunity to celebrate and thank our colleagues for the critical work they perform under what are often very difficult and delicate circumstances.

Debi Daviau,
President
